Professional female athletes aren't out to make friends. They're out to win. Girls need to see that this is not only acceptable but applauded. Girls need these role models to emulate.
Introverts can be just as effective in leadership as extroverts. The key is being a "good" leader. Both traits offer advantages. Identifying and accepting who we are is the first step. Learning from, and leveraging the temperament of others, is the next.
